Dolito’s pets talk: Divorce

on May 28, 2012

(This is the translation of Miss Dolito’s blog. I stands for Miss Dolito.)

Today Chocolate the poodle ran to me, and said, “Grandma, I want a divorce!”

I was very surprised to hear that.

I asked him, “Who do you want to get divorced from? You’re not even married!”

Chocolate said, “I want to get divorced from Tzai-Tzai! I don’t want to live with him anymore. He bites me!”

(p.s. Chocolate and Tzai-Tzai the maltese are both boys.)

Chocolate said to me, “Doesn’t divorce mean discreetly announcing that you won’t continue living with the other person?”

This is another question that bothers me. So ‘divorce’ means not to live with some one in his logic. However, it’s not ‘totally wrong.’ How should I explain to him?
